To La Crosse Archery
LaCrosse Archery is in Onalaska (?) at 1212 Oak Forest Drive. They have two ranges – 20 and 30 yards. Some of the target holders eat arrows, so don’t bring your best ones. Though SCA archery requires wooden shafts and feather fletching, we will not be that restrictive, since part of this gathering is to have fun and get together. Gavin or Kudrun can explain basics of SCA archery.
To Houska Park
Houska Park is easier to find on Google Maps than it is to describe. It’s south and west of downtown, and right on the river. It even has a web site.
To Bronislavá’s house
Bronislavá lives at 702 South Losey Boulevard in LaCrosse, at the corner of Losey and Winnebago. Google Maps shows you the front door, which is only used by pizza delivery folks. (702 Losey North is a gas station – don’t go there.)
King Street Kitchen is on the corner of 7th and King Streets (141 7th Street South) in LaCrosse. They have allowed Rokeclif to meet in the “back room” near the kitchen. They provide a “family restaurant” menu — with breakfast served at any hour.

There’s a sign indicating Heritage Village. Turn right onto Spruce Street, and follow it 2 blocks, where it turns left and becomes Mallary. Cyb’s house is straight ahead 2 blocks. 3091 Michael Way. Warning: This is not the “Michael Court” that Google Maps lists. The phone number is 781-7742 (an Onalaska number) in case of navigational mishaps.
To Kudrun’s Home
Ettrick is on Highway 53 about 8 miles north of Galesville. There are two bridges across the creek that runs parallel to 53. Take the northernmost, following the sign to Melrose. The street ends abruptly at Main Street, forcing you to turn or to drive into the bank building, which is not a good idea. Turn left, proceeding only to the end of the block (Second Street) where there is a cute little red brick building labled “TATE BANK” on the corner. Turn right, and proceed a half block. Kudrun’s house is the two-story white castle with a little turret, at 15722 East Second. If the street is full of carriages, go left into the alley beyond the next house, and make another left into another alley, and you can park in the Post Office lot and come through the garden. If you get lost, the phone number is (608) 525-8400 — but if you get lost in Ettrick, you’re probably not SCA material.
