The meeting was called to order by Deputy Herald Bronislavá. She was then relieved of Heraldic duties, lest her 45-minutes expire.

OFFICER REPORTS

The A&S List was passed around. The next A&S Night will be September 13. Please RSVP if you’re bringing food. Lady Cybele will host the gathering. Kudrun will present her Introduction to Heraldry class from Poor Man’s Pennsic.

Chatelaine invites everyone to a social evening on Friday, August 27. We’ll gather as early as 6, order in pizza, and watch ―The Court Jester.

Chirurgeon-in-eventual-training couldn’t take the required course this month.

Exchequer reports that everything has been switched over to ―SCA-Wisconsin. We paid the storage shed rent for another year. ($275).

Youth Minister says ―nothing much‖. He got his report in. Is working on the ―Youth get a castle event.

Web Minister says ―nothing much. We still need flat picture for the banner. He says the website is very simple. Anyone could manage it. Deputy Web Minister concurs.

OTHER STUFF

Vitaliano has been investigating possible event sites. Omni Center was rejected. Viterbo Theatre might be a good coronation site. American Legion Hall is reasonable, has parking, and knows SCA. We need a vet to get it (George, Gavin…) Knights of Columbus on Hiway 16 also has possibilities.

A gaming event was discussed. Chess, dice, mental games, Mad Libs (because we’re Rokeclif), outdoor period games like kubb. April 23, 2011 is our target date, with the 16th as an alternate. One requirement, now that he has documentation, is Vitaliano’s mountain of macaroni and cheese.

A university demo is needed, but we need fighter. Maybe we could rent the Concordia for a free feast for fighters from other groups after the demo.

Scroll holders are always needed. We could make some. Kudrun will investigate.

Gaylord invited us to Taylor’s Old Fashion Days parade in June 2011.
