OFFICER REPORTS

Chatelaine has been messaging folks like Torquil, Ahlwin, Byle, Simone on facebook. Talked to folks about our gaming event. Padruig has a whole chest of period games! Theatre events are also popping up. At another point in the meeting, Bronislavá asked if the Chatelaine could have a designated fund, and if she could purchase an official shire copy of the new Known World Handbook. The shire approved a $75 Officer’s Fund for the Chatelaine, as well as purchase of the Handbook.

A&S — The list was passed around. December A&S night will focus on sewing. It’ll be held at Skokke Towers. Bronislavá has contacted Belle to teach dance and Sorcha to teach Robert the rudiments of being A&S Marshal.

Equestrian – the horsies are asleep.

Chirurgeon-elect still needs a job.

Youth Minister — nothing new.

Web Minister — the Games Event website will be going up soon. Persona stories are invited as well. We need to make certain that all our meetings are on the website, in case non-facebooksers want to know what’s going on.

Herald — now that mundane life is slowing down, the Herald will be able to focus more attention on learning her job, beginning with an explanation of the Order of Bridget’s Flame.

Vitaliano and Robert went upstairs to get the rice, and were elected Rapier Marshal and Armored Combat Marshal respectively. Congratulations, gentlemen!

Exchequer’s third quarter report went in using the new Wisconsin forms AND the old SCA forms. Double thanks to Maewyn this quarter.

GAMES EVENT—April 30

Vitaliano hasn’t been able to give them the check, but otherwise it’s coming together. Teachers are coming out of the woodwork! We need to think about dishes to go with a ham.

BATTLE OF THE TROUPS

On hold for the moment. Vitaliano is working with Vicki.

AUTUMN ROSE — August 26-28

Date for Autumn Rose was set at August 26-28, 2011, possibly at Veterans Memorial Campground in LaCrosse County. Vitaliano will ask the Board to approve our special needs, e.g., fighting, archery, camping, merchants. This still doesn’t commit us to using the site. Other details (feast, porta-potties, refrigeration) will be dealt with later, depending on what the Board says. Anthoinette from Coille Stoirmeil will do feast for us.

BARDIC MADNESS

If Mistress Eithni doesn’t find a site for Bardic Madness, we are prepared to step in, using Taylor or the old school in Whitehall for a site. Vitaliano and Vettoria looked at Whitehall, and think it’d be a great site for an indoor event. It has a huge gym, kitchen, tables & nice chairs.

CORONATION or CROWN

Omni Center folks are interested in hosting us. We’re excited about hosting the first Crown Tourney on ice. Keep looking for sites, folks. Vitaliano has an excellent site-checker.
