1st Edition Playford Dances Rarely Seen in the SCA	THL Freydis in tryggva Sigurdardottir	Easy to intermediate dances we don’t see very often in Northshield. May include Goddesses, Dargason, Glory of the West, or Argeers (simple steps, dodgy pattern) depending on number of participants
Beginner Dances	THL Tarien Dane	An introduction to La Regina, Petit Vriens, Montard Bransle, Official Bransle, & Jenny Pluck Pears
Beginner’s Sampler Platter	Signora Beatrice Domenici della Campana	An introduction to some dances for beginners, including: Carolingian Pavanne, Black Alman, Official Bransle, & Spangoletta
Bizzaria d’Amore	THL Tarien Dane	A 16th-century Italian dance for four from Negri’s book Le Gratie d’Amore.
Cascarda Favorites: Gracca Amorosa and Bella Gioiosa	Mistress Alina of Foxwood	Caroso’s Cascarde are delightfully fun and lively 16th Century Italian dances. This class features Gracca Amorosa and Bella Gioiosa. Learn, or refresh your memory of, Gracca Amorosa, one of the most popular cascarde in the Known World. Bella Gioiosa is more fun than you can shake a stick at with its playful jousting figure and, incidentally, my favorite SCA dance – come find out why! Familiarity with 16th Century Italian steps and figures is helpful, as there are quite a few of them (but it’s worth the learning of them).
Contrapasso in Due	THL Dafydd Arth	An easy-to-learn 16th-century Italian dance for two.
Don’t fear the Galliard!	THL Freydis in tryggva Sigurdardottir	The steps for this lively 16th century dance aren’t that hard (and it’s great exercise too). Class level will be geared to participants’ experience. Basic cinque pas and bell steps, as well as marque pied/talon, pied croise, or some eleven step work if time.
Gresley Manuscript Dances	Domina Isabella Beatrice della Rosa called “Belle”	We will be dancing 5 dances from the Gresley Manuscript. No experience necessary
Intermediate Italian Dances for Trios	THL Dafydd Arth	15th-Century Italian dances for three, including Spero and Vita di Cholino
Intro to English Country Dance	Baron Tosten du Calais	The basic steps of English Country Dance, with opportunity to practice those steps in Sellenger’s Round, Black Nag, and/or other dances, depending on the number of dancers
Middle Eastern Dance – Beginner Basics	Lady Asabella of Caer Anterth Mawr	An introduction to the core concepts of Middle Eastern dance including muscle isolation, layering, and simple moves that you can do around a campfire. For non-beginners this is a chance to go back to the basics and brush up your skills!
Middle Eastern Dance – Facial Expressions and Accents	Lady Asabella of Caer Anterth Mawr	Using facial expressions and accents to enhance your performance. Dancing is more fun when you communicate with your audience, partner, or whoever you are dancing with. A look is worth a thousand words. Dancers of all styles can benefit from this class.
Middle Eastern Dance – Building Combos	Lady Asabella of Caer Anterth Mawr	Using the beginner basics to build combinations of moves to create a performance or to do around the campfire. A few simple moves put together can create a different dance each time. Fun and interactive!
Panel – Dance Etiquette	THL Freydis in tryggva Sigurdardottir Baron Tosten du Calais	An informal panel discussion about various elements of dance etiquette in the SCA, including how to ask someone to dance, how/when to lift, hygiene tips, and more. Feel free to share your own experiences.
Processional Dances	Lord Hakon Hrafnsson	Three easy dances from the Inns of Court that work well as processionals to begin court or dance demos. Dances include Earl of Essex Measure, Lorayne Alman, and Queen’s Alman
SCA Historical Dances	Viscountess Elashava Bas Riva	A look at some not-quite-period dances that were very popular through the history of the SCA, including Hole in the Wall, Female Saylor, and Korobushka.
Three-Couple English Country Dances	Baroness Anpliça Fiore	Three dances from Playford for three couples: Black Nag, Picking of Sticks, Chestnut
