Awards in the SCA are given based on recommendations we submit for each other. To recommend someone for an award, you must log into your profile on Northshield.org. Then under “Who’s Who” you’ll see Award Recommendations.

In general “Award of Arms”-level awards are named “Award of _____” and “Grant of Arms”-level awards are named “Order of _____.”
Non-armigerous awards — awards that don’t give you any additional title or arms — can be called anything.
